Hardware in the Loop (HIL) represents a crucial technology for the validation of automotive and industrial components. They allow research and development departments to test systems in realistic conditions without the need to build complete physical prototypes. Using hardware in the loop, it is possible to simulate a wide range of operational scenarios, improving the efficiency, safety, and reliability of the tested components

We have more than 10 years of experience in design specific apparatus for testing of automotive ECU and power electronics controllers for Electric Vehicles (EV), e-Mobility, and power converters.

Our Hardware in the Loop solutions are tailor-made on customer need, without any compromises.

We design and develop electronic devices tailored to various market sectors, including motorsport, automotive, industrial, and aerospace.
We handle everything from evaluating technological feasibility to electronic and mechanical design, from producing both large and small batches to conducting electrical and functional testing.

Our solutions are based on NI VeriStand or LabView software platform.

This integration allows engineers to use complex mathematical models and control algorithms directly in HIL tests. Models developed in Matlab/Simulink or LabView can be imported and run in real-time, enabling accurate verification of system performance and control strategies.

The typical hardware solution is based on an NI Real-Time platform (such as RT-PC, PXI, cRIO)  with the addition of other I/O modules from NI, third party manufacturers and Alma Automotive’s custom electronics.
